Our mission is to create a place where healing is holistic, people are empowered, and no one is reduced to just a diagnosis. A place where therapy, housing, daily enrichment, and practical life support exist together under one umbrella. We also serve as a trusted community liaison, connecting families, providers, and organizations to the right care, resources, and support systems.
We proudly partner with Grace Unlimited International Nonprofit to extend community outreach, support services, and resources that empower individuals and families beyond clinical care.
Sound Mind Counseling Services was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that individuals living with mental and emotional challenges deserve more than momentary relief—they deserve consistent, compassionate care that helps them build a better life.
Located in Snellville, Georgia, our team saw far too many people falling through the cracks—cycling in and out of crisis care with no long-term plan or follow-up. We created Sound Mind to change that: a space rooted in clinical excellence, daily structure, and faith-sensitive support that helps clients experience true healing.
We exist to restore dignity, create structure, and provide the tools people need to live whole, meaningful lives. Through counseling, housing placement, life skills training, and adult day enrichment, we walk alongside individuals who have been overlooked or underserved—and give them space to heal, grow, and thrive.
At Sound Mind Counseling Services, we do more than provide therapy—we offer a trusted, structured path to healing that considers the whole person.
Here’s what sets us apart:
We deliver trauma-informed, person-centered care through structured adult day health services tailored to individual needs.
We empower adults to heal, grow, and live with purpose, combining emotional support with real-world life skills that promote independence.
We create a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space where individuals are treated with dignity—no matter their background, diagnosis, or life journey.
We integrate clinical excellence with optional faith-based support, offering clients the freedom to include spiritual care in their healing process when desired.
At Sound Mind, our value is in our people, our programming, and our purpose. We meet clients where they are and walk with them toward lasting transformation.
At Sound Mind Counseling Services, our approach is centered on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. We combine clinical excellence, daily structure, and compassionate support to help individuals move from crisis to clarity with dignity and direction.
We understand that healing isn’t linear, and therapy alone isn’t always enough. That’s why our programs offer both evidence-based treatment and real-life support to promote lasting recovery and daily success.
We see beyond the diagnosis, offering care that supports mental, emotional, physical, and—when requested—spiritual health.
We use evidence-based practices led by licensed professionals.
Our Adult Day Health programs provide daily structure to help clients stabilize, build routine, and reinforce new coping skills.
We don’t foster dependency—we build independence. We guide clients in developing life skills, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.
We offer Christ-centered counseling for those who request it, while remaining welcoming and inclusive to all belief systems.
Choosing the right provider can make all the difference in your healing journey. At Sound Mind Counseling Services, we go beyond traditional care by offering a structured, compassionate, and clinically grounded environment where transformation is possible—and sustainable.
Here’s what sets us apart:
