Behavioral Counseling Services

Empowering Adults Through Structured, Compassionate Mental Health Care

At Sound Mind Counseling Services, our Behavioral Counseling Services offer therapeutic structure and support for adults facing mental health challenges. This program is ideal for individuals who need more than weekly therapy—but not 24/7 inpatient care.

Whether you’re transitioning from a hospital, managing a chronic condition, or simply need a structured support system, our IOP helps clients regain stability, build coping skills, and move toward lasting recovery in a safe and supportive environment.

What We Offer:

  • Group Therapy (3–5 days/week):
Evidence-based sessions that focus on emotional regulation, trauma recovery, coping skills, and interpersonal growth.

  • Individual Counseling:
One-on-one sessions with a licensed clinician to address personal goals, triggers, and life challenges.

  • Case Management Support:
Assistance with benefits navigation, housing referrals, legal aid coordination, and other community resources.

  • Psychoeducation & Life Skills:
Curriculum-based education on mental wellness, self-care, communication, and daily functioning.

  • Family Involvement (Optional):
Counseling and updates for families or guardians who are part of the recovery journey.

  • Coordination with Providers:
We collaborate with hospitals, therapists, and social workers to ensure continuity of care.
